The Value of a Blog
I just discovered this free, on-line service that calculates the value of a blog according to the links to that blog. You just feed it the URL of a blog, and it returns a dollar value.
Some results:
Mister Thorne’s Set in Style: $15,807.12
Perkins Coie’s Digestible Law: $0.00
David Lat’s Above the Law: $445,986.60
Sheppard Mullin’s Financial Institution Law Blog: $0.00
K & L Gates’ electronic discovery law: $48,550.44
Cathy Kirkman’s Silicon Valley Media Law: $63,793.02
Ernest Svenson’s Ernie the Attorney: $94,842.72
Kevin O’Keefe’s Real Lawyers Have Blogs: $125,327.88
Michael Arrington’s Tech Crunch: $12,935,869.56
Eugene Volokh’s Volokh Conspiracy: $1,300,135.62

Gimmicky thing that I’m not sure is worth anything. But if you think it’s worthwhile, the value of my blog on that thing is $215,089.74, not 0.00.
