Diversity is Consciousness

Placid Aguwa, president of the Nigerian Lawyers Association in New York, recently had this to say about the Association of the Bar of the City of New York’s Statement of Diversity Principles:

The statement is essentially about a consciousness for the big law firms especially, to open up. There’s this Harvard, Yale, Stanford network before you make partner, so the Bar Associations are aggressive that law firms and corporate America open up to women and minorities in partnership tracks and hiring.
