What is your real name?

My first name is Mister. Friends and associates call me Thorne.

Here’s the story of how I got my name.

Where are you located?

San Francisco. I grew up in New York, traveled the world, landed in the midwest, and moved back to New York. After a while, I got tired of being too busy to have a life, so I moved to the City by the Bay. Now I have a life, but I miss New York and so much about it. Go figure!

I’m thinking of starting a blog. Can you help me?

Sure . . . I’d be happy to see if I can help. If you’re set on starting a blog, I can handle the technical details and the design and show you how to maintain your blog on your own, or I can maintain it for you. If you’re not sure whether you want to invest the time and energy that it takes to make a blog worthwhile (in promoting your practice or attracting new clients), I can help you with that as well.

I’ve got a Web site, but it doesn’t do a lick of good. It doesn’t bring in any business. Can you help me?

I’ll bet I can.

Do you handle art and design?

I’m not an artist, even though I’m often called on to serve as one. I usually rely on others (professionals) for art and design.

What about the technical end of things? Do you write server-side applications, and other things I know nothing about?

I don’t advertise myself as a technician, but if you want to start a blog or upgrade your Web site, I can take care of the technical details for you.

Do you have any experience with RFPs?

I sure do. I’ve helped law firms create proposals that win business. If you want your proposals to stand out from others and make the best case for your firm, you might find me very helpful.

What about seminar materials?

Why have your attorneys spend their time creating seminar materials when that’s not what they’re trained to do, and it’s not what they’re paid to do? If you want seminar materials that make your firm look like a top-notch outfit that’s sincere in its commitment to excellence, we must talk.

Where can I learn more about your services?

Take a look at Set in Style, a blog about attorneys as authors and law firms as publishers.

What firms have you worked with in the past?

I’ve worked with firms large and small, from New York to San Francisco.

I’m in San Francisco next week. Do you have some time to spare?

Give me a call.
